A study conducted by Microsoft Corp revealed that the attention span of people has dropped to 8 seconds due to a digitalized lifestyle.

So, does it mean we actually have an attention span lesser than that of a goldfish, or is it just a bunch of carp?

In “How I build my audience,” I discussed strategies on how to appeal to the 3 different types of readers (inspired by freelancer Diana Adams) who visit your blogs👇

🏆The Loyalists: Those readers who not only read your articles but who read them in their entirety.

🐠The skimmers and scanners: Pretty self-explanatory, I think.

Know any?

🐠The Fireballers: Those who are visually stimulated and will likely skip your post if it’s not visually appealing.

How do you write for your readers? Please share in the comments!
