5 Benefits of Writing Short Form Stories on Medium

Here’s what you need to know about writing short form stories.

1. Quick to write. Short-form stories can be written in 30 minutes or less. This one took me around 20 minutes.
2. To the point. You have 150 words or less to make your point. It forces writers to be concise.
3. A quickly growing space on Medium. The Shortform publication is growing rapidly. More writers are flocking to the short form writing space on Medium.
4. Keeps writers in the habit of writing. Some days it’s hard to write a full-length story. On those days, I take a few moments to write 150 words or less. It’s a goal I know I can meet.
5. Allows writers to publish multiple stories in a day. If you have several ideas, you could easily publish multiple short form posts in a day.
