After nearly five years of studying Mindfulness, I have learned to be conscious of where I invest my attention.

Accordingly, let’s identify six drainers that will cost you happiness and fulfillment:

  1. Negative self-talk: depletes your energy and motivation
  2. Toxic relationships: can drain your energy and impede personal growth.
  3. Information overload: excessive time on social media creates unnecessary stress and anxiety.
  4. Procrastination: creates stress as you put off tasks and decisions due to a lack of emotional regulation skills.
  5. Unhealthy habits: Poor diet, lack of sleep, and movement can make you feel ill and lethargic.
  6. Unfulfilling work: Work that lacks meaning or purpose can lead to life dissatisfaction and burnout.

Addressing these energy drainers will free time and energy to create a rich, fulfilling life.
