I’d do anything for my sweet cat Suzy, so when she woke me up with her soft meows as she does every morning wanting breakfast, I dutifully got up and spooned wet food into her bowl.
As I turned to make myself a coffee, as per my routine after feeding her, I caught a glimpse of the clock on the microwave oven. It was 3-frikin-30 in the morning!
Belly full, she happily bounced on my stomach and pawed my face. Then she sacked out — leaving me wide awake.
Yeah. That not-so-sweet, total stinker got me good.
