A Weekend With No Plans

I woke up this morning in a panic, thinking I had overslept and would be late to my weekend job. I looked at my phone and checked the time, whilst trying to remember where I was based this weekend and attempting to calculate how late I would actually be.

Then I realised, I have no plans this weekend. I had cancelled all of my shifts. The panic subsided, I fell back into bed and smiled.

This weekend is for me. Whether I choose to stay in bed, walk 10km or revise for 12 hours straight, I can decide.

But, back to bed it was.

I am so excited to take a break this weekend, no small talk, no responsibility, no tiredness.

Resting, recuperating and relaxing are the only things on my to do list. And I cannot wait.
