The word “Accountability” is a word that many of us use a lot.

Whether that be regarding work, education or within our personal lives, but it’s not often that we find the space to really get to grips with what this word actually means.

Accountability is an interesting word, as it is one of those words that has underlying negative connotations.

Personally, when I hear this word I automatically take it as almost a warning shot or even a threat, whereby if something is not done, then there will be consequences.

In my previous article, I take a deeper dive into exploring the meaning of the words and the inferences that can be made from it. I look at the varying definitions and question how the word can be manipulated to bring about a potentially different action.
