Am I Pretty Enough?
Any girl who was told “You’re not pretty enough”, would have felt like society is mocking them. This message is clear and hurtful.
What women see as imperfections, society views as not enough. Society cannot fix our vision, remove cellulite from our thighs or remove any acne or scarring. They do not make us content with ourselves.
We hear about how we need to lose a few pounds, straighten our hair, and wear more makeup. This can come from the media, friends, family, or even strangers. The fear of not being pretty enough echoed from our critics and it haunts us.
Beauty is not only skin deep. We just have to be brave enough to realize it. To the girls who have been told you weren’t pretty enough — you are.
