Your partner says something which hurts. You respond by lashing out or withdrawing.

You blame each other. Your relationship suffers.

What if you’re blaming the wrong person?

A quick exercise to find the original wound

Feel the hurt from what happened.

Ask yourself, “How old do I feel?”

Take the first number which pops into your mind.

That is when the original wound occurred. If it hadn’t happened, the comments of your partner wouldn’t have hurt as much, maybe not at all.

Heal the original wound and the pain from the current situation might disappear, or at least not hurt as much.

I use the Soul Healing Prayer.

This video takes you through it.
