I’m grateful for modern-day technology and its advancements. But it has cut people off from each other.

I noticed this every day on my commutes to and from New York City. We’d all pile onto the train, and after sitting down, everyone would take out a cell phone and start scrolling. It was a rare person who had a book, magazine, or newspaper.
