Closing the ‘Boyfriend Loophole’

The bipartisan gun-safety law signed by President Biden includes an unexpected provision: removal of firearms from dating partners convicted of domestic violence. In March, the Senate removed that from the Violence Against Women Act because of National Rifle Association objections.
