There must have been times when you felt a strange dead sensation in some parts of your body. Most commonly arms and legs. The moment you get up from your seat you feel that annoying feeling that your legs are asleep.

It happens mainly when pressure is applied to a specific part of the body. The nerve pathways are squeezed in such a way that the nerves are unable to transmit electrochemical impulses in an effective way. Thus, that particular body part falls asleep.

Now, the best way to wake that body part is by shaking your head. Yes, you read it correctly. The moment you shake your head, your brain seems to locate which body part is asleep and thus gets it back working. So shake your head when don’t shake your leg.
