Dinner For Two

Dinner with a historical figure?

I’d choose The Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet. I had the privilege of meeting him for a few minutes at his home in Dharamsala. Tooks pics with him and got a warm hug! Obviously, I was speechless, in a daze, and walking on air for the next few days.

I admire The Dalai Lama for his compassion and for making kindness his religion.

I would love to have him over for dinner. Talk to him, enjoy his wit and humor, his delightful laughter. I’d ask him about his hobbies, especially his penchant for repairing watches, his favorite food, what makes him laugh, what he truly enjoys about his mission, memorable events . . .

Love his playfulness!
