Take inventory of those things you once wanted. What did you long for? What is it you prayed for but did not get? Sometimes lamenting over what we have not gotten or what we have lost is the place we often find ourselves stuck.

You may be hurt by a failed relationship or friendship. You may be disappointed about the job or house you didn’t get or some other lost opportunity. It is important during these moments to look past the pain. Move beyond the ego’s need to succeed as defined by society and you will likely find that you are better off. Reject the feeling of failure and embrace the lesson in the experience.

To remain stuck increases our likelihood of having on blinders when it comes to seeing what is new, what is better, and what is meant for us when it shows up in our lives.
