“If you’re doing this, you’re already ahead of 99% of people.”

I haven’t come across those kinds of posts for months.

I’m tired of it.

I wish I didn’t care, but I can’t.

And I get it.

Motivating people to do what you do is part of the grind.

“But what if I don’t want to outperform 99% of people?”

“What if I want to do better for myself?”

“What if I want to be my only competition?”

“Does that make me a loser?”

Don’t get me wrong.

I know it works.

I did it all for years, and I burned out 3 times before 33.

Since then, I learned that making a commitment to yourself is the best way to keep going, even more on your worst days.

And again, you don’t have to strive for more to improve.
