Robert stared at his cards. “Could be good,” he muttered. His cell rang, he sighed. “Hello Stefan, I know. It’s her house as well, she can sell. I’m not doing anything. I’m in Venice. It’s wet. I’m cleansing my thoughts with travel. I have tickets on the VSOE. That’s right, the train. I’ll be in Paris in three days. I’ll collect myself there and decide whether to go to Budapest or all the way to Istanbul.”

Stefan told Robert he loved trains and would love to see Paris but stopped short of saying he loved him.
