Good Things Don’t Come To Those Who Wait

I bought the lie.

I thought if I waited patiently, my dreams would find me. All I needed was to be patient.

As I grew older, I realized that this is not how the world works. Nope, not at all.

In order to bring my dreams to fruition, I needed to go out there and seek them. I needed to make things happen for myself. Being passive wasn’t enough.
