Guilty Pleasure

What Are You Secretly Addicted To

I hate the word ‘addict.’ Everyone is addicted to something. I know plenty of people who are addicted to things that are more intangible, such a control.

Many of the things I am addicted to aren’t illegal. For instance:

  1. Blank Notebooks
  2. People Who Are Self-Sufficient
  3. Groceries
  4. Documentaries
  5. Independence
  6. Making Art

On the other hand, I know some people whose addiction to food is way more harmful than the amount of Mad Dog’s I drink.

Why is everyone so worried about what the person next to them is doing? I suspect the reason is, guilt. They feel guilty about whatever their guilty pleasure is. It’s a way of rationalizing their own behavior.
