Have you ever started to learn something, slowed down, and eventually dropped the idea? We all do it (at least, I did).

Why?

It’s not that you have lost passion, you lose momentum most of the time. However, if you can constantly gain momentum somehow, you might as well reach mastery.

  • No Goal, no progress. So, clearly define your study goal and milestones.
  • Retrieval over repetition. Actively recall information from memory and self-quiz before re-reading text periodically.
  • Engage in hands-on practice to improve retention. Nothing beats regular practice.
  • Always connect the new information with prior knowledge and try to explain in your own words.
  • Lastly, seek guidance from experts. A mentor, even virtual, can offer valuable insights and shortcuts.

Everyone has their own learning strategy, so tell me yours!
