Every week we are busy doing everyday duties and other things we think are important. It can be hard to make ends meet, and therefore I find inspiration in how Laura Ingalls’ Ma structured her week:

Each day had its own proper work. Ma used to say:

“Wash on Monday,

Iron on Tuesday,

Mend on Wednesday,

Churn on Thursday

Clean on Friday,

Bake on Saturday,

Rest on Sunday.”

– Laura Ingalls Wilder: Little House in the Big Woods

I try to be consistent with my writing routine and my week looks like this:

✒️ Research on Monday

✒️ Writing on Tuesday

✒️ Proofreading on Wednesday

✒️ Publishing on Thursday

✒️ Reading on Friday

✒️Planning the coming week on Saturday

✒️ Rest on Sunday.

How do you plan your week?
