Knowing what to work on is one of the hardest parts of running your business.

You are your own boss. Nobody tells you what to focus on.

Often, You invest time in improving and crafting processes.
But.
How often do you ask — Is the process necessary?

In software development, we call it Premature Optimization.

A term used to describe spending a lot of time on something that may not be necessary.

This wastes valuable and scarce resources.

Creators suffer from the same problem. You worry too much about something which may not be necessary — yet.

Dealing with the Problem

  1. Try and Delete a part of the Process (preferably the entire process)

2. Add back parts — as and when you need them

You will automatically add back an optimized and efficient version.

“There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all”
- Peter Drucker
