As writers, we struggle with a lot.

Just as you experience the infamous, mythical, writer’s block, you’ll sometimes feel disconnected from your creative art.

When this happens, you’ll find that you can no longer wave your wand, say abracadabra, and watch the magic happen.

You’ll struggle to tap into your creativity and it’ll feel like something has snuffed out the light and you are choking on emptiness.

Such moments are inevitable.

Reigniting your creative spark.

When you feel disconnected from your art, practice the following steps.

— Redefine why you create art. Think about it over long walks, quiet time, and coffee.

— Go to the beginning and trace your growth patterns to rediscover yourself.

— Listen to the directions and ramblings of your heart.

The discoveries you’ll find about yourself and what you desire from creating art will surprise you.
