I’ll always treasure Betty White and the other Golden Girls. As the world slept, the pranks of their romantic adventures provided relief from my sadness.

A joyful heart is good medicine, Proverbs 17:22 ESV but grief robs us of our gaiety.

The Golden Girls proved the value of good entertainment. They addressed aging, widowhood, sex, and betrayal- topics submerged in pain, yet, capable of touching every funny bone in my body. They were God’s gift, as I aimlessly…
