Chris Cuomo, CNN’s prime-time anchor, was fired.
Apart from helping his brother Andrew Cuomo, the disgraced governor of New York, other charges against him include his own sexual misconduct.
Mr. Cuomo has, of course, refuted these allegations.
He had been brazenly flouting journalistic norms, advising his brother’s aides. But CNN turned a blind eye to it.
CNN benefitted when Chris Cuomo interviewed his brother Andrew, the Governor, innumerable times for the prime time show, especially when the coronavirus at its peak decimated New York city. The ratings of his prime-time shows went up, as did Andrew Cuomo’s popularity.
Both brothers’ destinies seem to be entwined, as they soared together and now sink tied to each other.
