Memorial Day weekend — the unofficial start of the summer season. Traffic will be ridiculous! Mostly heading north. Except for those who already live in beautiful northern Minnesota or are up there already.

And in the Twin Cities and all parts of Minnesota not considered “Up North,” there are more than enough ways to enjoy summer weather wherever you are in our state. And much of it has to do with water! Abundant water. And shorelines, docks, beaches, trails, and parks.
