Are we free-souls to laugh at an actual free-soul?

Why is it that we laugh at the Joker?
We laugh at the joker not because he is doing something silly, we laugh because we dress differently. The Joker does not make us laugh, the unusualness of the Joker makes us laugh.
We are tied by our own ropes of the ‘usual’ and when someone else, something different comes along, we laugh.
In the same manner, when someone tries to preach their own learning which breaks the rules of our ‘usual’, we laugh at them. The laughter is not demeaning to that person but it is demeaning to our confined mindset. We consider ourselves free souls yet when an actual free soul sits among us we give them disgraceful looks and laugh at them.
