“…we are fully aware we remain a small, low, single-digit share player. That said, it feels good to be at the dance!”

A month ago, Microsoft launched its Bing chatbot in a “limited preview”.

Now, Microsoft passed the 100 million daily active users mark.

Why does Bing blossom?

A third of the “millions of active users” who are utilizing the AI-powered Bing preview are those who have never used the service before.

The business also gives credit to Microsoft Edge’s gradual but steady rise. Edge uses Bing as its default search engine.

How did Bing improve the bot's behavior?

In reaction to the bot’s occasionally strange and frightening discussions, the firm changed the behavior of the bot:

1 — Since it was easier for the chatbot to derail during lengthy sessions, the number of responses it could provide at once is limited.

2 — You can choose between different “personalities” for the chatbot, whether you want your answers more straightforward or rather entertaining.
