Monday Blues?

The Carpenters’ song, “Rainy Days and Mondays” enters my head every time Monday looms. Sunday nights are a drag because I anticipate the weekend’s end and the start of… effort!

It’s winter here in Australia so cold mornings and more frequent rain don’t imbue me with Tigger-like enthusiasm.

Honestly, though- I’ve never liked Mondays.
