Conflict in the Middle East. Election-related uncertainty in the States. Riots in the UK.

The world is not an easy place to live in right now. Especially if one’s of a sensitive nature.

Thankfully we have M’n’M (Madge and Malala) to bail us out of this sad state of affairs. Or at least their 2D images. Immortalised on a wall on Cross Street, Islington.

The mind boggles as to what a young Malala would have made of the Queen of Pop had the former been around circa 1990, when Madonna was at the height of her powers as a boundary-breaker.

Methinks the Afghan heroine would have been on the front row of Madge’s Blond Ambition tour. Because that’s what icons do. Knock down barriers.
