If folks can deny the tragedy of Sandy Hook, it is not too far-fetched to think that powerful deniers could persuade folks to re-write or forget history. What would be even worse, would be any attempt to rationalize or sanitize it.
The most dangerous deceptions exploit facts. Seduced by them, we succumb to disinformation. Lily’s story emphasizes a terrible truth- Some actions are unequivocally wrong and people like us did them.
