I was heading over to my office, someone snatched my bag! I freaked out, he fell down and………
Hold up. Hold up!
It’s happening in my head.
It sucks — to worry about the things that haven’t even happened.
Headache!
My overthinking seriously messed up my productivity.
Overthinking just makes it impossible to focus. And you know, staying focussed is indeed a key to success. Now, I’m making conscious efforts to deal with it.
If I catch myself getting sidetracked, I shake it off and get back to work.
Some tips that work for me to deal with overthinking are:
1: Take a deep breath.
2: Discover a way to divert your attention.
3: Take a moment to step away.
4: Meditation.
5: Learning Mindfulness Skills.
It’s important to seek support if needed to break the cycle of overthinking.
