I think we associate unrealistic expectations with ‘Passion.’

It’s become imperative that the finest is ensued from passion. Something done passionately cannot be mediocre.

Your passion won’t make you feel intimidated by the outcomes and won’t let you doubt yourself.

Follow your passion, and life becomes a ‘happily ever after.’

But life isn’t a fairy tale, and passion isn’t a state; it’s a process.

A job done passionately can look utterly useless. Getting up to do what your passion demands can be taxing. You’d be tempted to give up and choose something easier. You’d still face difficulties following your passion.

But if you truly are passionate, you’ll never settle till you produce your finest.

When it gets tiring, you’d rest but never quit. You’d value the mediocre as much as you’d your best. You’d follow your dreams, come what may.

Because that’s what passion really is.
