Poetry or Theatre
When it comes to emotions, there are not differences between poetry and theater — this idea is stated by Iris Murdoch in her book named “The sea, the sea”.
Emily Dickinson’s work remain as a clear illustration of the preview argument. Her poems treat aspects of most vivid moments and encounters with human souls, bees, and other beloved beings.
As about theatre, William Shakespeare is the most well-known playwright — his plays stand out for deep emotions. There is no doubt that an Emily Dickinson’s verse is as “powerful” as a William Shakespeare’s line.
Considering the poems and the plays from a variety of perspectives, some take the same directions. It is possible to recite a play aloud. Similarly, it is not difficult to imagine a dialogue between two spirits as a poem is read.
