HAPPY HOUSE PLANTS
Pothos Are Hardy and Survive Most Things
From the tropical South Pacific
Pothos has been a popular houseplant for 60 years and originated in French Polynesia. It spread worldwide with human migration and became naturalized in many tropical places. You will not see it bloom as it spreads without doing so.
Find many varieties like the classic golden, variegated marble queen, or bright neon. Its’ genus name Epipremnum means “upon” and “on trunk.” The name harkens to how it grows up tree trunks in the wild.
These varieties need very little care. They thrive on neglect. If you want a plant that is hard to kill, pothos are your best bet. Some fenestrate or develop split leaves as they grow older.
