Have ever truly taken notice of any of our ancient Greek quoted philosophers from long before our civilized times (perhaps I shouldn’t have used the word ‘civilized,’ as I rather doubt , by today’s standards, that we actually even are.)

“Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body.”

Mentally39.com Seneca. A stoic philosopher.

I honestly don’t believe that when Seneca said these words, that he ever thought that future generations on from him, would ultimately be responsible for starting wars across our world today.

True yes, difficulties indeed work to find solutions which strengthen our minds but, discovering ways to meet world needs and end wars, was most-likely not what he meant.

Yet labor, yes. Our physical health abounds through engaging with it.

But that’s not all though is it?

Physical labor contributes to a healthy happy development of our minds too.

Healthy Body = Healthy Mind
