Superheroes Are Boring
Give me an everyday hero any day!
I’ve sometimes wondered why movies about superheroes bore me so much.
Then, Eureka! I realized the answer!
Super heroes nearly always win every fight they engage in. . .with their (yawn) super powers. So much for suspense. Or genuine courage, for that matter.
