Once there was a little seed. So small it could scarcely be seen. They were placed on fertile soil. Bathed in sunlight from above and fed with nutrients from below.

Little seed prospered next to the big tree. Protected by their outstretched branch during cold winter storms. And showered with refreshing stories on days the sun blazed down.

With time little seed turned into a sprout. In the blink of an eye, a little tree has risen.

Now their roots reach far enough to drink water from the earth during the summer heat. And hold the little tree steady during severe storms. Finally allowing them to stand on their own.

So the big tree tentatively takes their branch of shelter back. To let the little tree breathe. And become a big tree themselves. Independent but never alone. Always loved.
