Dandelion Dreams

The last dandelions of spring dot the grass
before the hot winds of summer whisk them away
to unknown places.

Hundreds of dreams still remain,
thousands of wishes still linger,
waiting for those who reach for them

and realize that hope still remains
even when the seasons change.

May we search our hearts for our wishes
and the skies for our dreams

and may there always be dandelions
to scatter them to the changing winds.
