The Overdue Library Book of Shame Has Changed

But can we be trusted?

Library books aren’t overdue in the way they used to be. There’s no longer a fine at my library.

I found this out when needing to return a book, and wondered how close I was to a fee. There’s a grace period of three weeks, which I was sure was fast approaching.
