It’s common to look outside ourselves for evidence of our worth. Strength and inner work are necessary to conquer the false beliefs we accept.

It takes growing beyond society’s conditioning. A conditioning that dictates what’s required to be valued.

Negative words and actions of others awaken a critical inner voice. Ruminating thoughts say you’re not good enough unless you’re perfect.

People are learning to affirm who they are. Basic affirmations are helpful, but I find it useful to consider your pain points — get to the root of the matter.

What created the negative thoughts cycling through your mind? Strong affirmations can derive from that place.

Did someone treat you like you’re unworthy?

I am more than worthy.

I don’t have to prove my worth.

I am special to myself and those that love me.

I don’t have to reach perfection to deserve love; I am precious right now.
