I sit at my desk after a long night shift, exhausted but unable to rest.

There’s a blog post due, a newsletter unfinished, and the house is a mess.

I’m the only one who seems to care that things need to get done.

Despite my best efforts, I can’t focus.

The noise, the mess and unfinished chores press in on me, and my frustration grows.

I’m fighting through being tired, but a part of me asks, “Is this worth doing?”

So, I stop.

I ignore everything , let go of the pressure, and take a break.

I’m choosing to focus on what matters to me and my time.

And I’m choosing me.

My peace, my sanity — that’s what matters right now.

And If you’re in the same place, it’s okay to ignore everything.

And soon, you’ll find your way back again when you’re ready — stronger and clearer than before.
