This Minnesota Church Appears to Make A Hell of a Lot of Money

They Own Church Properties in Desirable Metro Real Estate Locations, And Bring In Eye-Popping Member Contributions

Eagle Brook Church’s 11 locations can be found amidst quite nice areas of the Twin Cities. Plus, they are currently prepping a building purchased in downtown Minneapolis to open in September. Their current locations are listed on their website...

When I first saw their Woodbury, Minnesota, church 2 years ago, I was struck by the new church building and the enormity of the parking lot, which on most Sunday mornings is amazingly full. I calculated about 1,500 parking spots. Sitting atop a lofty expanse of prime real estate.

Okay, so they’re selling community. They’re selling belonging. What all humans need. Fine. It’s the moral authority piece that presents as especially contradictory to me in a church resembling a high-end-business.
