This Week’s Joy: An Unhurried Hour

Aspects of my layperson’s technological life vex me. I rue the tediousness of multifactor authentication and the grinding vagaries of getting — and keeping — a printer at home connected to my laptop. They are necessary tasks and they are also burdensome by attrition. They take small bits of time and it all adds up as time taken away from me.
