Aren’t bag clips awesome…for all of their uses?

First known as a Bag Closure Device, the idea was patented in 1982 by a man named George Welch. Later on, the name was changed to Bag Clip.

They keep our food from getting stale allowing it to last longer, reducing food waste, and they keep the critters out.

They come in fun colors, sizes, and logos imprinted remind us of the clip sponsor if any.

They are affordable and often, they are complimentary giveaways at events.

Many are manufactured using recycled plastic.

And I marvel at their simple, and practical, engineering.

There are undoubtedly other uses for these clips…(insert imagination here)

I’m just glad they are here and today my prayerful pause of appreciation today is for them.
