Have What You Want — Want What You Have
Be grateful now
We have attics and basements full of stuff we said we would be grateful for when we got it. But gratitude fades. It’s replaceable. We swap out the old for the new.
What if you could be grateful for what you already have? Would you use it more? Would you find it a new home?
Do you make the most of what you have? If not, you won’t be happy with the next thing.
For me, the best form of gratitude is for the feeling you want to experience. The act of expressing gratitude for feeling good or feeling content gives you the feeling itself. Keep this up and you will have more things in your life that give you want.
You may be surprised at how many of these things you already have.
