Today I Swallowed a Pineapple Seed

Short n’ sweet

Today I swallowed a pineapple seed and now I worry that a pineapple bromeliad plant will begin to grow in my tummy. If you see the photo above, you will know why I am so concerned about this. All those spikey things look like they could really hurt!

Here in Trinidad, we eat fresh pineapple almost every day. It’s so sweet and delicious. They are not exactly easy to cut up though and the seeds can take time to dig out. It’s a labor of love!

It’s been a while since my last Shortform post — since August. Wow!
