Larking about in the mud, London style

We know it as the river in the heart of London. And at some point, it was also one of the largest ports in the world. With so many communities settling near its banks, it should come as no surprise that the Thames is also a place of archaeological importance. This much was evident in a recent exhibition at Waterman’s Hall.
