The most Spectacular waterfall in Scottish Highlands

Scotland has some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the whole of Britain. Wailing Window Falls is one of my favourites. Located in Scottish highlands, this beauty stop is a must-see in the famous North Coast 500 route.

As fascinating as its name sounds, there are a lot of stories behind it. The most famous one is about a deer hunter who fell over the top of the falls and died. His mother couldn’t get herself to live without her son and threw herself from the same spot the next day.

It is also one of the easiest waterfall walks. There is only a short distance from the car park to the bottom of the falls. If you feel more adventurous, you can also go to the top of the falls and capture fantastic views with the loch and the falls.
