I know about the power of timely news hooks.

Here’s a process to find them:

1 — Search through Google News, Feedly, Twitter, and other social platforms such as TikTok to check for trending news topics.

2 — Pick the two most popular topics and comes up with multiple story ideas.

3 — Place all the story ideas in a spreadsheet and decide on the most suitable platforms.

4 — Craft the content and publish all the pieces ideally on the same day.

At the moment I’m experimenting a lot with timely news hooks.

I write about Stranger Things, Jordan Peterson who got banned from Twitter, crazy TikTok stories, Elon Musk and Twitter, and the all-female team breaking the world record by rowing from California to Hawaii.
