What do you write?

Single cursor blinking on a monitor, waiting for input, ANY input you might have. The usual sound of fingers dancing on plastic keys, creating nouns, verbs, adjectives, sentences, paragraphs, and a story: gone.

Replaced by defining quiet, crickets, and my dog, who is looking at me, saying it is time to go. Now. Don’t think. Just … time to go.
