Can we choose to forget?

We all have a conscience. It is what stops us from running around destroying everything around us and yet with a social conscience, we can choose to forget.

Each time I head into the center of London I am reminded of how lucky I am. At times I do feel ungrateful and want more, yet for the majority of the time I notice what is right in front of all of us and that is the social divide. Between those that have the privilege and those that do not.

Two halves of society are divided by one key consideration and that is money. Between those that have it and those that live off the generosity of others, a concept that is highlighted in many popular films such as The Hunger Games. There, in the virtual constraints we listen, yet in the real world, we forget.
